King Christmas Wawa will arrive at Newbeak Park on October 18th for the Arrival of October. Citizens and tourists who have been present at Newbeak for the previous seven days are allowed to spectate the event, and take photography. Spectators must purchase an admission ticket to spectate the event. These are purchasable on our website (here), on the details of the Arrival of October events page. Tickets are estimated to sell out today. It is suggested to reserve a spot in advance, as security will be letting spectators into the park grounds today (October 17th) as a first come first serve basis.
All spectators are considered as guests and must act appropriately throughout the entirety of the event on October 18th. Security workers are expected to be respected, and treated as guardians. Spectators are expected to follow the instructions of security staff at all times. Spectators are also subject to search and seizure of hazardous or dangerous items at all times around the perimeter of the event. If a spectator is suspected of creating a security risk, they will be asked to leave or removed by staff.
Only photography equipment is allowed during the event, along with all purses, jackets, watches, shoes, sweatshirts, bracelets, and hats. Anything suspected of being used for a dangerous action will be confiscated, or require the spectator to leave the park grounds. We ask that spectators only hold up cameras in the crowd, do not hold up any other object as it could be seen as potentially dangerous.
